这要结合一战英国军队的真实编制来判断。
正确答案是男主角来自第8师（8th Division），它的指挥官是一位少将（Major-general）。符合电影中的情况。
再来看看第8师在一战时期的编成是怎样的，注意到第23旅下面出现了“德文郡团第2营”（2nd Battalion, Devonshire Regiment）
这也和电影情节相符合。
