Plot Summary:We are in the Spain of 1835, convulsive times of revolutions and miracles. The stigmata of Christ appears in the body of Sister Patrocinio, first in her hands and then in her side and feet, which will encourage credulity in some people and suspicion in others. Popularly known as the nun of the wounds and cloistered in a convent in Madrid, an investigation and the subsequent judicial process will be carried out to elucidate the veracity of the facts.
