Plot Summary:A bourgeois couple,Jérôme and Monika ,along with the husband's best friend and his escort girl ,Stanislas and Betty ,spends a weekend in the mountains in a hunting lodge .Stanislas thinks that Jérôme does not deserve Monika and he intends to take advantage of this two-day break to sleep with her.Betty ,whose companion despises and humiliates her,consoles herself with Antoine ,the warden of the chalet ,a simple-minded young man ....Stanislas and Jérôme go hunting in the mountains while Monika is reading,and Betty shopping in Chamonix.
