Amanda travels to Kansas City to talk to Mrs. Davis, the mother of Peter's long-dead first wife, to find information about him. In Boston, a shady woman named Taylor McBride, the wife of restaurant chef Kyle McBride and someone from Peter's past, flies to Los Angeles after reading about Peter's legal trouble and for some unknown reason, decides to relocate to Melrose in Jo's vacant apartment by charming the bemused Matt into renting out the apartment.
