剧情介绍
本片拍摄耗时94天，而男主角柯林·法瑞尔在拍摄期间曾经摔断手臂和摔伤脚踝。 影片讲述了Alexander（柯林·法瑞尔 Colin Farrell 饰）年轻时的梦想、荣耀与冒险生活，他征服世界后的孤独生活以及神秘的死亡。他与将军Hephaistion（杰瑞德·莱托 Jared Leto 饰）不寻常的关系也得意展现。Alexander的母亲（安吉丽娜·朱莉 Angelina Jolie 饰）也在他的生命中起到不同凡响的影响力。 亚历山大自幼聪颖过人，曾受教于亚利斯多德，稍长即被授予首府总督之职，并以平定山贼有功而任命为马其顿大军统帅，随父横扫希腊城邦之乱。融合东西文化，鼓励民族间通婚，并倡导民族间地位平等，讲希腊思想律法散布各地，开创希腊化时代文化，死时却年仅33岁。Conquering 90% of the known world by the age of 25, Alexander the Great led his armies through 22,000 miles of sieges and conquests in just eight years. Coming out of tiny Macedonia (today part of Greece), Alexander led his armies against the mighty Persian Empire, drove west to Egypt, and finally made his way east to India. This film will concentrate on those eight years of battles, as well as his relationship with his boyhood friend and battle mate, Hephaestion. Alexander died young, of illness, at 33. Alexander's conquests paved the way for the spread of Greek culture (facilitating the spread of Christianity centuries later), and removed many of the obstacles that might have prevented the expansion of the Roman Empire. In other words, the world we know today might never have been if not for Alexander's bloody, yet unifying, conquest.
